Detailed Product Description

Rotary microtome has a heavy base and a hinged cover, for protection of the interior medium, and a knife holder. With every revolution of the drive wheel, the  teeth that is engaged with the ratchet wheel advances the object holder through cone and inclined plane mechanism. This aids in the cutting of the tissue sections into  1 micron sizes. A safety device is also provided which automatically disengages the feed mechanism. The feed indicator is provided in front and the the feed setting is at the back of Micro tome which sets 1 to 50 micron. A razor is also provided which is of 120 mm made from heat treated steel and tested for micro structure is also supplied with the instrument. The razor is in an adjustable tilt angle of up to 30 degrees on a reference scale. Packed properly in a wooden Box.
